December 07, 2013
Location: Knight TV Studio

Guests: Leonard Downie Jr. and Harry Rosenfeld

Leonard Downie Jr., former executive editor of The Washington Post, interviews former Washington Post and New York Herald Tribune editor Harry Rosenfeld on his new book, "From Kristallnacht to Watergate: Memoirs of a Newspaperman."

In the book, Rosenfeld chronicles his journey from boyhood in Hitler's Berlin to a career that included working at two of the greatest American newspapers of the 20th century. At the Post, Rosenfeld was a key figure in overseeing the breaking of the Watergate scandal — managing the work of Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein that won the Pulitzer Prize.
