Pulitzer Prize-winning reporters Wendy Ruderman and Barbara Laker talk about their new book "Busted: A Tale of Corruption and Betrayal in the City of Brotherly Love."
The book chronicles one of the biggest police corruption scandals in Philadelphia's history, involving an elite narcotics squad. Ruderman and Lake reported the story for the Philadelphia Daily News. Their 10-month series, "Tainted Justice," earned them a Pulitzer Prize in 2010 for investigative reporting.
The book recounts how the reporters formed an unlikely bond with a convicted drug dealer to uncover the secrets of ruthless kingpins and dirty cops.
