Pulitzer Prize-winning reporters Wendy Ruderman and Barbara Laker discussed their new book "Busted: A Tale of Corruption and Betrayal in the City of Brotherly Love" before a rapt "Inside Media" audience March 29, 2014, at the Newseum.

The book is based on Ruderman and Laker's painstaking investigation of one of the biggest police corruption scandals in Philadelphia's history, involving an elite narcotics squad. The reporters formed an unlikely bond with a convicted drug dealer to uncover the secrets of ruthless kingpins and dirty cops.

The resulting 10-month series in the Philadelphia Daily News, "Tainted Justice," earned the reporters a Pulitzer Prize in 2010 for investigative reporting.
