Junior Reporters
Scouts and Youth Groups
Calling All Junior Reporters!
Bring your youth or scout group to the Newseum to sniff out the big stories! Our fun-filled activity guide helps cub reporters learn how journalists report stories as they write, draw, discuss and explore their way through the galleries. Explore one of the largest displays of the Berlin Wall outside of Germany and investigate today's headlines from all over the world! Your group will travel back in time and find out how the biggest news stories — from the sinking of the Titanic to the moon landing — were reported! Leaders receive a detailed confirmation packet with a Leader Guide and answer key.
The Junior Reporter price includes admission to the Newseum, an individual Junior Reporter self-guide, a Newseum Junior Reporter pin or patch and a Junior Reporter certificate. The Junior Reporter Program must be reserved one week prior to your event date.
For more information or to book the Junior Reporter package for your group, please call the education reservation line at 202/292-6650 or write to educationprograms@newseum.org.
