Manhunt: Chasing Lincoln's Killer

The Newseum's exhibit, "Manhunt: Chasing Lincoln's Killer," explores how new developments in journalism and technology came together in the news coverage of Abraham Lincoln's death and the hunt for his killer. The exhibit was created in collaboration with James L. Swanson, author of "Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln's Killer."

New Lincoln Artifact Now on Display
A rare bronze replica of the original 1860 plaster casts of Lincoln's face and hands, produced in 1886 by sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, has been added to the Newseum's popular "Manhunt: Chasing Lincoln's Killer" exhibit.
