Washington Post staff writers Monica Hesse and Dan Zak look back at the events of 2012 and explain what's in and what's out as 2013 begins.
Hesse and Zak are authors of "The List," the annual column that has graced the front page of the Post's "Style" section around New Year's Day for more than 30 years.
"The List" provides an unconventional look at what's hot and what's not in everything from food, fashion, entertainment, pop culture and politics.
The duo will preview their list and discuss other happenings from the year 2012.
Hesse joined the Post in 2007 and frequently writes about culture, the Web and the intersection of the two. Zak, a general assignment reporter, joined the newspaper in 2005.
